AC DraftShield central air conditioning vent covers winterize your home by blocking cold drafts from exiting your central AC vents. Fits grilles up to 14"L x 14"W x 2" D. Inside dimensions: 14"x14"; outside dimensions: 15.5"X15.5"
 
CA-series covers are designed with a specifically engineered foam matrix for long term applications such as winterization and specially designed to conform to irregular surfaces for the best draft seal possible while being gentle on walls and ceilings as to avoid marks or yellowing. The lanyard and cord lock attachment system is included with each AC DraftShield.

    I love this product! Priced well, easy to install and remove for seasonal use, discreet appearance, and very effectively blocks cold air from dumping out of my return vent and keeps warm air from climbing the other vents (which creates drips). I bought models 2" larger than my vents, so for 12" vents I used 14" covers, and they work beautifully. I highly recommend this product and company.

    I found these to be easy to install and cover 13 3/4" grills. The magnetic coverings that I had last only one year. I anticipate these will last forever and keep the draft out.

    Bought for evaporative cooler vent. Good seal,Easy to install. Did not feel any drafts after installing. Only drawback is the when threading cord through the hole it was extremely tight.

    Shipping time was reasonable.

    Installed them yesterday, pretty clever and simple. Last night our heater ran much less, and the house feels warmer without the drafts.

    Good design, good quality, could be quite a bit slimmer for my vents, but they disappear quickly.

    AC Draft Shields are amazing. I have lived in my current home since 2007 and have had to tape and seal off my downstairs vents each winter. This involved stuffing a towel in the vent and sealing the register with plastic and tape. I came across this product and began to communicate with Bill at AC Draft Shields and the customer service and product were and are BOTH amazing. I placed an order for all 11 registers in our home and my wife and I installed them the night they arrived. It was not difficult, just took a little time. We wanted to get them installed before the COLD weather arrived. They have been on now since before Thanksgiving and today it is 8 degrees here in PA. I checked the lower vents and there is NO cold and NO drips. I LOVE THESE. Wish I had found them sooner.

    Bought this product to eliminate the cold drafts that were pouring out of my ac vents throughout my house. Saw these on line and gave it a try. Very easy to install, blocks all the air coming out of the vents. This is a great simple solution which I should have done years ago. Don't hesitate to buy them, get the right size.
